About

Men have been playing netball throughout Australia for decades. Most men are introduced to the sport by playing in a local social competition or watching female family members, friends or partners compete. Most men are unaware that there are opportunities to take their netball game to another level. SAMMNA was formed in 1989 to offer these opportunities in South Australia.

The South Australian Men's and Mixed Netball Association is the peak state body for Men's and Mixed Netball in SA. We are committed to developing Men's and Mixed Netball within the state, particularly providing new pathways for male netball development.

Our Association is governed by the SAMMNA Board which is overseen by the current President Steven McInnes.

We run a seasonal weekly Men's and Mixed Netball Competition - M League, which consists of 3 seperate divisions, Premier Men's, Reserve Men's and Mixed, is designed to showcase the exciting sport at the most elite level and allow us to recognise and develop new talent. This is the top level Men's competiton in South Australia and continues to inprove and grow each season.

We are affiliated with the Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) and participate in their annual National Championships.
