The SAMMNA competitions committee have recognised there is a clear desire for this grade of competition. In 2023, SAMMNA launched the Junior Mixed Division which is a fun and competitive competition which encourages participation and skill development of both junior boys and girls, aged 13 to 17 years of age. Registration for the Junior Mixed competition is open to all clubs within South Australia.
